Do You Struggle With Not Having Enough Time..!?

Tick Tock

“I haven’t got enough time”

“I have 3 kids to look after”

“I’m doing 2 jobs”

“I’m always being rushed around”

“I never have any time for myself”

Any of these sound familiar to you?

If you’re looking to find a way to get more into your day with out the stress, it comes from PRIORITISING & PLANNING. And although work, family, shopping would come at the top of the list; unfortunately, you are missing one KEY priority. Yourself.

In this day and age, we tend to become so wrapped up in trying to provide for others that we forget to provide for ourselves. We unfortunately focus too much on investing in our education than our health and we are lead to believe that we should prioritise work over everything. Don’t get me wrong, i think its great that we have a stronger-built education system where children are getting smarter, more knowledgeable and ready for the work life. Awesome! What i dont think is so great is that whilst we are MENTALLY preparing us for the real world of work, i don’t see many people PHYSICALLY preparing us.

As Jamie says in the video below, if you are putting yourself at the bottom of the priority list, YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO HAVE TIME.

So having said this here is a few ways you can start to have that little bit more time in the day.

To-do-lists

To-do-lists are great because if you’re like me (mind of a gold fish), it makes it easier to know what to expect next and not have to dwell upon remembering what you have to do next

Priority lists

These are wicked because you can then plan on what needs to be done straight away. You should do this in the first couple hours of the day so the rest of the day is pretty easy

Time schedules

Again another awesome way to create more time because by doing this, you are setting deadlines for when each thing needs to be done. You can then see where you fit in some “you time”, even if its only for 5-10mins. That is enough time for some self decompression and a good stretch (especially if you’ve been behind a desk all day).

Productivity Courses

There are many productivity courses that deliver workshops, practical coaching and consultancy to help you and your people to get more done, with less stress

REMEMBER REMEMBER REMEMBER…If you are not putting yourself, you are never going to succeed and having time.

So without further a do, my first challenge to you is to start taking 5-10 minutes a day doing something you enjoy. Whether thats:

-LPT’s Micro Workout (10mins)

-A YouTube video

-Yoga/Stretch

-Brisk walk

-Read a chapter of your favourite book

-Look up some recipes for tomorrows dinner
